Getting in shape and maintaining it is neither easy nor simple. A multitude of information coming from all sides can get us confused. So let’s try to reset ourselves and listen to the simplest tips to get the most out of your training sessions.
1. Practice Cardio
20 min cardio, 3 times a week, will significantly improve your physical condition, can help you stay healthy and control your weight. Exercise at moderate intensity (60-90% of maximum heart rate) gives the best results.
2. Lift Weights
Strength training will strengthen not only your muscles but also your bones and ligaments. Regular strength training can improve your posture, muscle tone and help you lose weight by accelerating your metabolism.
3. Stretch Out
Regular stretching will prevent muscles from shrinking with age and can reduce the likelihood of back pain caused by a sedentary lifestyle.
4. Do what you like
Choose the physical activity that you really like and can’t wait for. If you don’t like running, try walking, dancing or cycling. Don’t you like gyms to do strength training? Try training at home using weight training. You are much more likely to stick to a plan you like than to one that doesn’t give you any pleasure.
5.Wear special shoes for the Right Activities
Wearing the wrong footwear (e.g. on a hard running sole) may increase the likelihood of an injury. The right shoes can significantly improve the comfort of your exercise and thus increase overall training satisfaction.
6. Drink plenty of Water
When we exercise, our bodies produce large amounts of sweat to cool down. It is very important to replenish the lost water reserves. Try to drink at least 6-8 glasses of water a day, plus an extra amount during training.
7. Eat a lot of unprocessed Fruit and Vegetables
Vegetables and fruits contain vitamins, minerals and fiber, so they are all essential for health. Reducing the intake of processed, artificially sweetened food and replacing it with a natural and raw form is key to achieving the benefits of exercise.
8. Practice with Friends and Family
Offer your friends and family a joint training session! Group exercises, especially with close people, are not only very pleasant and much more interesting, but also increase your motivation.
9. Set yourself Goals
Training without a specific goal can cause you to lose your motivation, so you better try to set a goal so that you can stay focused on it and on training. Remember that the best goals are personal and time-limited to help you focus even more on achieving them.
